Two by Two

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Typical, the sun is shining today when I have to work..

So working through my many un-blogged cards I have these fun bright children's cards that I made using Hunkydory kit..

These papers and toppers are so fun and bright ideal for all the little people in your life lol..
I used these to make some cards for orders and then to add to my stock (didn't last long there though lol)

Its Christmas ....

Good Morning Crafty Friends

Its my eldest birthday today, cant believe he is 12 years old already..

Just a quick post before we head off to the skate parks with his new scooter..
I'm sharing a couple of Christmas cards I made using the Festive Filigree Kit from Hunkydory Crafts

These filigree frames are amazing and although they are very intricate die cuts they hold the ink and glitter etc. really really well.. For these two I have used Distress Ink and a spray and sparkle..

Thanks for stopping by today and for any comments you leave

bikes and skulls

Hello Bloggers,

How's your weekend been? We had a great day yesterday at Oulton Park for the Mini Festival (I love mini old and new) and today me and hubby have had a lovely ride out on the bike :-) I do miss it as we don't get to ride as often as we used to, so been a lovely weekend here. Its my eldest birthday tomorrow too (cant believe he will be 12)

Anyway as I've been in biker mood today I thought I would share this card with you, made using a printable card kit from Crafts u print.

Great for quick male cards..

Challenges (out riding our bike is what we like to do during the summer months) shame we don't get much summer weather here in the UK)

Happy Saturday, what do you have planned for the weekend. We are off to Oulton Park for the Mini Show.
Hoping the weather is kind to us (fingers crossed)

Anyway the reason for todays post is we have a new challenge starting today over at A gem of a Challenge our theme this time is Let it Snow, this means we want to see SNOWFLAKES on your creations.

I love these card kits available from Pink Gem Designs, this one is called penguins with snowman, I used rainbow mirror card from Hunkydory, Snowflake papers from old LOTV pad and some small snowflake dies from the Hunkydory Moonstone Snowflakes kit..

The rest of the team have made some gorgeous cards so please pop over to see them

Photo Cards

Afternoon everyone,

Hope you are all well.. I've been going through my photos of un-blogged cards (there are so many of them) so thought I would stop back with a second post for today with another share..

A lot of my customers like me to make cards using personalised photos.. I have two cards to share now that I made using photos of the birthday boys pride and joy (their cars) lol

This first card I matt and layered the photo onto coloured card and teamed with papers from DCWV, these papers are really good quality and have a lovely shine on them, worked really well with this photo.. Then I added die cut letters and numbers to personalise...

Again for this second card I used the photo as the focal point, but for the background I used plain red card that I ran through the embossing machine.
Embellished with some dotty ribbon from Crafty Ribbons and die cut grandson using Crafters Companion family die set.

For the inside of the card My customer wanted a verse adding so I used the photo again but converted it to a type of watermark effect, so it sat in the background of the verse.

Enjoy the rest of your day

Penguin Light Me Up

Evening Bloggers,

Little later with todays post, struggling to concentrate today with a headache :-(

I hoping to get some of them coloured this evening if this headache will do one lol...

Anyway I thought I would share a card I made the other week using another of the Whimsy Penguins, this one is Penguin light me up..
Coloured with Spectrum noir pens and Polychromo pencils, I used crystal clear sparkle pen for the lights but you cant really see it in the photo. I used some old Christmas papers from my stash, Lovely happy Christmas ribbon from Crafty Ribbons and a few buttons also from my stash.
